Culture Club beschikt over drie verschillende zalen, elk met hun eigen soundsystem, light infrastructure en projectiefaciliteiten. Alle zalen zijn uitgerust met airco en eigen bar(s), telkens met ETC-drankregistratiesysteem. Vlot bereikbaar aan de rand van de stad, vlakbij het Dampoortstation. Parking.

Na een eerste briefing wordt een budget op maat van de klant gemaakt. Barpersoneel wordt exclusief door CC voorzien. Eigen cleaning team. CC is vrij van catering, maar heeft goede relaties met cateringbedrijven in alle prijsklassen. De verschillende zalen kunnen apart gemoduleerd worden, waardoor de capaciteitsrange gaat van 100 tot ruim 1.000 personen.

Het management van Culture Club wordt waargenomen door Jeffrey Vanhaeren, Tom Mertens en Stijn D'Hont. Grote productionele flexibiliteit. Van louter receptief tot volledige productie.

Culture Club dispose de trois salles, dotées chacune de leurs propres installations sonores, infrastructures lumineuses et de projection, climatisation d'air, bars et systèmes d'enregistrement ETC.
Culture Club est aisément accessible en périphérie de Gand, à proximité de la gare de Gent-Dampoort. Il y a un parking.

Après un premier briefing, un budget est évalué en fonction des moyens et des attentes du client. Le personnel du bar et l'équipe de nettoyage sont toujours fournis par Culture Club. Le choix de l'équipe de restauration est libre mais Culture Club entretient de bonnes relations avec des restaurateurs dans toutes les catégories de prix.
Les salles peuvent être utilisées seules ou modulées, ce qui porte la capacité d'accueil de 100 à plus de 1.000 personnes.

Le management de Culture Club est pris en charge par Jeffrey Vanhaeren, Tom Mertens et Stijn D'Hont. Ils font preuve d'une grande souplesse, allant de la réalisation d'un projet jusqu'à la production complète d'un thème.

Door Policy

Culture Club does not discriminate on racial, religious, physical, social or sexual grounds.
Culture Club will give preferential treatment to regulars and special guests (guestlist) within capacity limits.
Culture Club expects visitors to respect the dress code. See “What to wear and what not to wear”.
Possession and dealing of illegal drugs results in immediate and permanent exclusion.
Possession of any type of weapon is cause for immediate and permanent expulsion.
Violent behaviour or other acts of misconduct will lead to immediate exclusion.
All minors will be refused entrance.The Culture Club capacity, as imposed by the Gent Fire Department, is 500 visitors.

Dress Code

Culture Club has been designed with a keen eye for detail and style. It’s our home, you are our guests, and yes, we expect you to dress up for the occasion. No idea what we’re talking about? Check the pictures on this site and it may dawn on you. Or check any fashion magazine at hand. It’s not that difficult, it’s just a matter of taste.

Feel like celebrating your birthday? Feel like throwing a party? Looking for something different? Look no further... You’ve found the ideal spot... Culture Club is available for private parties. Not quite as expensive as you might think...

On Fridays and Saturdays Room 3 (downstairs) may be an option... Or maybe you’re seeing things a little bigger...?

Wall of Fame

Our list of national and international dj’s and live acts reads like a “who’s who” of modern electronic music. Respect to every dj who worked the Culture Club crowd, respect to all live performers who gave their heart and soul. We often booked ‘m in the early stages of their career, quite a few of them have grown into super-popstar-status. Allow us a bit of namedropping, in random order. Please have a look at our wall of fame...

Entrance Fee

On a regular resident Saturday night tickets cost 8,00 € before, and 10,00 € after midnight. Student card = 5 €.

Tickets prices may be subject to change for “Special Nights”. For these nights presale tickets are generally available at Fnac, on www.fnac.be or can be reserved by phone: 0900 00 600 - 0,45 €/min.

The parking across the street is 3,00 €.

Cloakroom: 1,00 €.

Toilet: 0,50 €.

Culture Club most definitely classifies as fertile soil for dj-talent. 2ManyDjs aka The F*cking Dewaele Brothers and The Glimmers aka Mo & Benoelie, our ‘early years’ residents, now travel the world & the seven seas. They are worldwide headliners in the most stylish clubs and on the biggest festival stages, they are much-in-demand remixers and are releasing their own material to much critical acclaim. Also Starski & Tonic and Fredo & Thang are broadening their horizons as djs as well as with their own new projects The Subs & Foxylany. We’re also looking forward to the long awaited Hermanos Inglesos album... We wish them the very best and it will always be a pleasure to welcome them back in the Culture Club. TLP aka Troubleman would kill us, if we didn’t mention him. He’s been with us since day one and is probably holding the longest residency in the history of recent Belgian dance music...

Maxim Lany is teaming up with Neon in the main room – Room 1. Maxim & Neon now define the new Culture Club electro sound.

After two years in the main room, TLP aka Troubleman has moved his mixing desk, record players, records & his mike back to “his” old room, upstairs... TLP has been with us since the very early Eskimo days... Almost two decades, on top of the scene, an ego to fill two oceans, a heart in the right place, music and life are one and undivided... Ladies’ man and porn king, but first and foremost a Man with a Mission. If we were to count the hours he has been mixing and mc’ing at the Culture Club, the figure would be staggering. He is a household name in Miami & got married in Las Vegas... Some day his life story will be translated into an incredible rollercoaster movie script. This is not America, This is not LalaLand, this is TLP Territory! Respect!

A household name for quite a while, here at Culture Club, and everywhere else in Belgium for that matter. Now he’s officially called upon as a CC Resident. Partner of the Fais la Fête crew, working on his own productions,... Davidov is clearly broadening his horizon...

Starting off at your typical ‘for my friends’-parties and creating those first bedroom mixes, people quickly started taking notice of Maxim’s dj’ing skills. Not satisfied with merely playing at other people’s parties, Maxim Lany (and a few partners in crime) created ‘The Sound’. Meanwhile he continued playing regularly at Café Theatre, Pop Life, Decadance and… Culture Club, where he stepped into the footsteps of Starski & Tonic and Fredo & Thang. Maxim has been hosting his own night ‘F*ck Lany’, for a while now, inviting the likes of Marc Romboy, Huntemann, Bodzin and Ante Perry,... With his partner Ramon Tapia (aka El Carlitto) Maxim has released several well-received tracks on such revered music labels like John Aquaviva’s Definitive Recordings and Sharam Jey’s King Kong Records.
